Job summary

Hyundai Mobis in Alabama is seeking a Warehouse PIV Operator/Processor to support RDC shipping and receiving. You will stock and pick orders quickly and accurately using PIV equipment, while following MOBIS safety standards.

You will log items in a PDA, conduct inventory checks, operate forklift/high reach/order picker as assigned, and maintain neat records. This role requires attention to detail and reliability with 8-hour standing and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep the warehouse clean and organized according to 3R5S standards.
• Immediate reporting of any order discrepancies to management.

Overview

The Warehouse PIV Operator/Processor works in the RDC shipping and receiving department, managing incoming and outgoing orders. The incumbent will be expected to stock and pick orders with speed and accuracy using PIV equipment safely in accordance with MOBIS standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Reliably pull and process orders, logging items in Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) as required
• Accurately restock incoming items, logging items in PDA as required
• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
• Demonstrate commitment to all safety standards at all times
• Perform inventory control checks to verify quantities and correct parts
• Work cooperatively with fellow Team Members and supervisors
• Use equipment properly and maintain it as needed
• Operate a forklift, high reach, and/or order picker based on daily assignments
• Keep neat and orderly records of all incoming and outgoing orders
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized according to 3R5S standards
• Immediately report any order discrepancies or issues to management
• Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
• Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• All other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years or more years of experience operating a forklift

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours at a time
• Ability to use a PDA

Preferred Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience operating a Reach Truck and Order Picker

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None

High Reach Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of taking on this role

Working Conditions

• 85% of working time may be spent operating a high reach forklift
• Walking and working in a large, non-climate controlled warehouse environment
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
• Use of Powered Industrial Trucks, including high-reach forklifts
