Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for our Baltimore facility. The role requires operating a forklift to load and unload materials, stack products, and support production lines, while ensuring safety protocols are followed and GMP standards are maintained.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid OSHA forklift certification and a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to work a 12-hour B shift and overtime as needed. Competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
• Load trucks and secure product per customer requirements.
• Load/unload materials onto/off pallets and lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials; inventory as needed.
• Label, sort, wrap, and tie product; unload and stack material.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

Work Shift: 12hr-B Shift (United States of America)

Pay rate: 19.20 hr/base

The Forklift Operator Role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
• Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements
• Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials
• Inventory product as needed
• And label, sort, wrap and tie product
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current OSHA forklift driving certification
