Job summary

Bar None Auction is a leading auction company specializing in construction equipment and industrial assets. The Forklift Operator will move, load and organize inventory, supporting intake, storage and auction prep while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role collaborates with yard, inventory and operations teams to ensure proper staging and compliance with policies and laws. The position requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, and a valid certification or the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior forklift or material handling experience required.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within timeframe.
• Experience in yard, warehouse or outdoor operations preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment, vehicles and assets within the yard and facility.
• Assist with receiving inventory and positioning equipment in designated areas.
• Stage equipment for auction events, inspections and photography.
• Support load-in and load-out activities during auctions.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow equipment operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain orderly yard layout and traffic flow.
• Coordinate with yard staff and supervisors on equipment movement needs.
• Identify and report damaged equipment or safety concerns.
