Employment Type: Full-Time

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

While the following list encompasses the primary duties and responsibilities of the role, the incumbent is also expected to perform other duties as assigned.

• Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and stage food products throughout the distribution center.
• Move pallets between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Accurately pick, stack, and organize products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all OSHA, food safety, GMP, and company safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Work in refrigerated and freezer environments while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Keep emergency exits, eyewash stations, and walkways clear and accessible.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications: PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and standing, bending, kneeling for extended periods.
• Ability to work in both cold storage and warm environments (e.g., freezers, coolers, dry areas).
• Capable of using cleaning chemicals safely with appropriate PPE.
• Work in a variety of environments, including dry storage, cold storage, freezers, and exterior grounds.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow safety protocols for working around heavy equipment and machinery.
