Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring for warehouse associates in Columbus, OH. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, verifying inbound and outbound goods, and using handheld scanners to update the warehouse management system. Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated areas.
• Inspect inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage.
• Operate handheld scanners for WMS compliance.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Recharge batteries and refuel equipment as needed.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance checks.
• Follow company procedures to complete tasks promptly.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Collaborate with fellow warehouse associates to meet goals.
• Take on additional duties assigned by supervisor.

• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Recharge batteries, fills fuel tank, or replace gas tank.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• Additional duties assigned by supervisor.
