Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Riverside, CA facility. The role involves loading/unloading pallets, moving wood products, and keeping operations safe and efficient on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm).

Pay is $20.00/hr with benefits including paid time off, 401(k), and health coverage for eligible full-time staff. Applicants should have 1–3 years forklift experience and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
