Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking an Equipment Operator for the second shift in Jessup, MD. The role focuses on safe forklift operation and material handling across warehousing activities, including loading, unloading, stacking and staging merchandise.

You will support inventory control and ensure accurate shipment preparation. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and bring basic math, reading/writing skills, and a commitment to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and perform basic math.
• Ability to write reports, business communications, and procedures.
• Proven ability to follow safety policies and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and MHE safely and efficiently according to OSHA standards.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in designated areas to support inventory control.
• Pick and pack orders, including light assembly and labeling.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and movements.
