Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Richmond, IL. You will load and unload pallets, move materials within the plant, and stack products into trailers while maintaining safety under a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 2:00pm–12:15am).

Pay is $21.00 per hour, with competitive benefits and advancement opportunities. The role requires 1–3 years of forklift experience, a background in warehouse or lumber-related work, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years forklift experience required.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience strongly preferred (lumber, carpentry, construction background is a plus).
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with other plant personnel in mind.
