Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping and receiving. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment while maintaining paperwork and inventory accuracy.

Requirements include a minimum of two years forklift experience, a valid forklift license or ability to obtain one, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Background and drug screening are required, along with basic computer skills and strong

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp, picker).
• Load, unload, and store products and materials.
• Stack or transport materials to designated areas; print labels and scan product.
• Complete paperwork and use inventory management systems; perform cycle counts.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and keep the area inspection-ready.
• Report incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping tasks.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsSafely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.Load, unload, and store products and/or materialsStack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.Use equipment to scan product and print labels.Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.Complete cycle count as requiredPerform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucksEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.May perform housekeeping dutiesMiscellaneous tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsMinimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
