Job summary

Allen Distribution in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift to load and unload product and move inventory safely. You will operate power equipment and ensure accurate handling in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates are able to obtain a forklift license, use an RF handheld scanner, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a non-climate-controlled facility with attention to safety, teamwork, and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain forklift license.

Shift/Schedule: 2nd shift:3:30pm - 12:00am - Mon - Fri

Pay: $18.00 + $1.50 Shift Diff/Hourly when applicable

Purpose of Position

Use of power equipment to load and unload product. Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.

• Follow safety and security policies and SOPs.

Quality:

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
• Ensure that product is scanned properly and matches the Item code on the product, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
• Complete all Inbound and Outbound paper work accurately and completely.
• Report all product damage to your supervisor/manager.
• Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancy to supervisor/manager.

Initiative:

• Knowledge of multiple accounts and/or job functions within given operation.
