Job summary

HKA Enterprises in Lancaster, TX is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a 2nd shift. The role requires operating a forklift to move, store, retrieve, and stage cartons and pallets in a fast-paced warehouse. A written forklift test and a practical driving evaluation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; education verified if a job offer is made.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Able to pass written forklift test and practical driving evaluation.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work Monday–Friday from 12:30 AM–9:00 PM.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime based on business needs.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution center environment.
• Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, transport, store, and retrieve cartons, pallets, and other materials throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately scan cartons when moving items to and from designated rack locations.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products in designated warehouse and dock areas.
• Sort incoming and outgoing items and place materials in the appropriate staging locations.
• Move pallets and other materials to designated areas, including supplying production areas when needed.
• Pull trailers to specified locations within the warehouse facility, as required.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while operating equipment.
• Maintain accuracy when scanning, moving, and storing inventory.
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily distribution operations.
