Job summary

Custom Building Products in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (1:00 PM–9:30 PM) with overtime as needed. The role involves shipping and receiving, operating a sit-down forklift and walkie rider, and collaborating with Production and Maintenance.

You will receive a shift premium of $1.50 per hour, with the potential of up to $1.00 more per hour after 90 days based on performance, and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Proficient operation of forklift and walkie rider; a driving test will be given at interview.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Stockton, CA plant. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Additional $1.50/hour shift premium added to hourly rate. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days depending on job performance.You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by shipping and/or receiving products timely and accurately. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - There is frequent movement which includes lifting.
