C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Second Shift Forklift Operator in Windsor Locks, CT. The role focuses on moving merchandise, tracking inventory with a handheld device, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a safe warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move merchandise to designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer and other devices.
• Stack, rotate and stage merchandise; load and unload trailers.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Follow safety protocols and safe SOPs for forklift operation.
• Occasionally lift varying weights and handle items on multiple levels.

Job Description

• Second Shift 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM (after training)
• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday , Thursday
• Earn $25.00 per hour +shift differential pay + incentive pay after training
• 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
