Job summary

DanHil Containers II LTD is seeking a Full-time forklift operator to move goods on the production floor, warehouse, and trailers using a propane-powered sit-down forklift. The role requires 1 year of forklift experience, with manufacturing and warehouse management experience preferred. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Typical shifts are 10–12 hours, Monday through Saturday, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and accurate staging of materials to support production lines.

Qualifications

• Propane-powered sit-down forklift experience required (1 year).
• Manufacturing experience preferred (1 year).
• Warehouse management experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Transport unfinished and finished goods to correct areas.
• Move goods in process to appropriate areas as needed.
• Inspect incoming product.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical or material issues.
• Coordinate with managers to align other production lines.
• Keep work area clean by moving empty pallets.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.

Job description

This position involves driving a sit-down industrial forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the production floor, warehouse, and trailer with and without pallets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport unfinished and finished jobs or goods into the correct areas
• Move goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas as needed
• Inspect incoming product
• Load and unload trailers
• Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor
