Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse in Princeton, NJ. You will safely operate stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment to load, move, and organize inventory.

The role requires at least 1 year of forklift experience, with high school diploma or GED. Certification is a plus; good attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of recent forklift experience.
• Experience operating stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trailers using powered industrial equipment.
• Move, stage, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Perform inventory movements accurately using RF scanners or warehouse systems, when applicable.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and warehouse policies.
