Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). This full-time role pays about $24.59 per hour and supports warehouse, yard, and production material movement.

You will operate stand-up and possibly sit-down forklifts, read shipping documents, manage inventory, and assist with loading/unloading trucks and railcars. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to FIFO and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Stand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience is required or preferred (certification favored).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.
• Ability to read shipping documents and safety instructions.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading.

• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers.
• Support recycling and yard organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Forklift Operator to support warehouse, yard, and production material movement. You’ll operate stand-up forklifts, manage inventory, and assist with shipping and receiving.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading
• Load/unload trucks and railcars
• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers
• Support recycling and yard organization
• Maintain FIFO and inventory documentation
• Clean spills and follow lockout/tagout procedures
