Pratt Industries – Cedar Hill is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2:00PM – 10:00PM shift. The role supports material flow by moving units to staging areas, maintaining inventory records, and performing basic equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• corrugating industry, forklift operation, or warehouse systems experience preferred.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Lift Truck Operator License must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and operational guidelines to maintain a safe workplace and obtain Pratt Forklift Certification.
• Maintain high attention to detail to prevent damage to materials and equipment.
• Support general operations with efficient, accurate tasks.
• Train and assist fellow team members and operators.
• Keep accurate records and complete timely equipment maintenance.
• Be flexible and support weekend shifts when needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Shift/Hours: 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Starting Pay Rate: $19.00/Hr.

As a Forklift Operator at Pratt Industries – Cedar Hill, you will play an essential role in maintaining the flow of materials by moving various sized units and products to the correct staging areas. You will also maintain accurate records of inventory locations, perform basic equipment maintenance, assist with general operations, and ensure housekeeping duties are completed. You will work in an environment where safety is a top priority and will have opportunities to grow in a supportive team-oriented atmosphere.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Candidates with previous experience in the corrugating industry, forklift operation, or working with warehouse management systems are preferred.
• Basic Troubleshooting: Ability to identify maintenance needs and take appropriate action.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift materials. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
• Certifications: Lift Truck Operator License (must be maintained).
