Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to safely operate powered industrial vehicles and lifting devices to load/unload and transport material within the facility. The role requires 3+ years of powered equipment experience and 2+ years operating a Reach Truck, with English proficiency and US work authorization.

The position offers a base rate starting at $22.00 per hour, with 2nd shift ($1.00 more) and 3rd shift ($1.50 more) differentials, and a 2:00pm-10:30pm or

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating powered equipment.
• 2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Able to work well with and motivate a team.
• Fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and manual lifting devices to deliver material to production machines/workstations; distribute material/inventory using the first in-first out method.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload material from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility.
• Organize all production material and inventory; use RF Scanner to scan material to appropriate locations and verify quantities are accurate; restock material in floor and rack locations.
• Ensure that all necessary inventory is available for production use and coordinate the ordering of material/inventory.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
