Aerotek is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Rushville, IN warehouse. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, accurate inventory handling, and supporting fast-paced agricultural production environments.

You will use WMS, perform inspections, and assist across shifts to ensure timely deliveries and product integrity. Expect to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with a 24/7 packaging schedule in a fully onsite facility.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or production setting.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience handling materials, inventory, or packaging operations.
• Ability to count inventory accurately while moving and storing products.
• Ability to read and use scales to verify weights and quantities.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Alertness and safety-focused operation of forklifts.
• Clear communication with team members and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to operate forklifts in confined spaces safely.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
• Reliable transportation to arrive as scheduled.

Mansioni

• Operate forklifts safely to move products and materials within warehouse and production areas.
• Perform and document regular forklift inspections and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
• Maintain forklift cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
• Use WMS and related tech to track locations and record inventory movements.
• Monitor inventory locations to maintain accurate records.
• Perform general warehouse tasks and sampling as directed by supervisor.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and hazard-free.
• Load and unload transport vehicles during seed delivery/returns.
• Follow safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Accurately count inventory during moves and storage.
• Read scales to verify product weights and quantities.
• Work in tight spaces while operating a forklift and stay aware of surroundings.
• Communicate clearly with team members and work independently when needed.
• Follow site policies on material handling and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability with consistent attendance and support production schedules across shifts.
