Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Joliet, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift. You will load/unload goods, verify quantities, and move items using a forklift. Daily tasks include scanning, equipment checks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace with team support.

Requirements include at least 1 year forklift experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and the capacity to pass a background check and drug screen. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting tasks.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transport to designated area.
• Check inbound/outbound products for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse associates and keep the facility clean and orderly.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
