Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Material Handler to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will operate reach trucks and forklifts, assist with shipping and receiving, and help maintain accurate inventory while working a first shift schedule.

Weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and paid training are provided. A valid forklift license and at least 1 year of warehouse experience are preferred; we value reliability, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines and ensure accurate picking and packing.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support maintenance of automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour

• Schedule: First Shift (A) Sunday-Tuesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
