Job summary

R+L Carriers in Wilson, NC is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00 AM–10:00 AM). Starting pay is $19.87 per hour, with benefits including paid vacation after 90 days and access to our exclusive employee resorts.

You will move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet, operate on a covered dock, and read manifests and computer displays. Prior forklift experience and dependability in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Read manifests and interact with computer displays as part of daily tasks.
