Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator for the first shift. The role involves moving stock within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and using various forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Shift runs 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, at $21.35 per hour. The ideal candidate has at least six months of forklift operation experience and certification, plus six months warehouse exposure.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct quantity and types
• Keep records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load stability; report variances as necessary
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source
• Maintain tidy, clean, and orderly facilities
• Assist in physical inventories
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
