Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in South Brunswick, NJ is hiring for a Forklift Driver in an onsite distribution center. The role involves daily picks, loading/unloading with power equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year forklift experience and operate swing reach, reach truck, order picker or dock stocker.
• Minimum 6 months ervaring with RF scanners and inventory handling.
• Onsite role with able to work in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Excellent attendance and team player who can adapt to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily pick for the hub using the inventory system.
• Load/unload and stack products with various power equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and update locations in the system.
• Perform staging, sweeping and housekeeping duties daily.
• Support safety initiatives and comply with site policies.

The Forklift Driver position is located in South Brunswick, NJ.

Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will...

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all (Manual and On-Task) tasks by end of each day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system.
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment.
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment.
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily.
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as instructed.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year’s forklift experience in operating the following: Swing Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker & Dock Stocker.
• At least 6 months’ experience with RF scanners.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
