Job summary

National Beef is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift in Kansas City, Kansas. This on-site role involves safe forklift operation, order rotation, and strict adherence to safety and GMP standards in a meat-processing facility.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift safely, stocking, rotating products, and following all SOPs and PPE requirements. The position offers on-site work with benefits and a stability-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the meat industry preferred but not required.
• Previous forklift operator experience, if any, must have safe forklift operation history.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Driving forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Driving forklift in congested areas.
• Storing products overhead safely.
• Properly rotating products on a daily basis.
• Being knowledgeable of all lock out and forklift check sheets.
• Knowing all loading procedures.
• Following all Food Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices requirements at all times.
• Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Being trained in and understanding all associated safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
