Job summary

Stratas Foods, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in the Dallas, TX area to join the production team on a Sunday-Thursday schedule (10:00pm-6:30am) with occasional weekend work and overtime. Responsibilities include forklift operation, housekeeping, load handling, and assisting with pick sheets while ensuring safety and efficient material movement.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer knowledge, and prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-6:30am) with some weekend work and OT

ForkliftOperator in Production area.

TheForklift Driver / Material Handler tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Must be trained and certified on the forklift.

Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling

Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.

Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.

Load trucks in the prescribed manner.

Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.

Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.

Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors.

Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.

Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.

Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-6:30am) with some weekend work and OT.
