Job summary

Tetra Pak in Denton, Texas is seeking a Forklift Operator for our overnight 12-hour shift. You will safely operate lift trucks, unload raw materials, and load customer orders while keeping FIFO inventory and supporting production readiness.

The role requires at least one year of forklift and warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow safety rules and SOPs. You will perform pre-operation inspections, participate in cycle counts, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating sit-down or counter balanced trucks.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
• Ability to be trained as an authorized operator; (OSHA standard 29CFR1910.178(1))
• Basic computer skills
• Strong dependability and reliability.
• Ability to read and understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of the lift truck and complete the checklist prior to use.

• Support long haul truck operations and administrative tasks as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
• Engage in sound warehouse practices to protect materials from damage and contamination.

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the logistics and material handling processes of our operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include unloading raw materials from delivery trucks, loading trucks with customer order, receive products using scanning and computer systems. Also, ensure products are stored efficiently using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method and assist in delivering materials for production and preparing finished products for customer delivery.

Shift schedule

• Hours: 12-hour overnight shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Work Pattern: Alternating between 36 hrs/week and 48 hrs/week. Working every other weekend.
