Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials, load and unload trailers, and support production and shipping operations.

The role requires strict adherence to safety rules, accurate handling of inventory, and participation in cycle counts. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining equipment, documenting inspections, and collaborating with production and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete company-required powered industrial truck training and certification.
• Ability to perform pre-shift inspections and document findings.
• Experience with RF scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse-management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related material-handling equipment.
• Transport finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials to appropriate locations.
• Stage materials for production, loading and unloading trailers.
• Verify product labeling and load accuracy prior to shipment; assist with shipping documents.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report unsafe conditions.
• Refuel or recharge batteries and follow safety procedures.
• Support production flow and warehouse operations during shifts.
