Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY is seeking Full Time Operatives to receive, store, and deliver finished or raw product. You will use RF scanners, move pallets, and ensure accurate loading and shipping in a fast-paced facility located in Rochester, NY.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate RF scanners and hand tools. Benefits include health insurance, company-paid life insurance and long-term disability,

• Previous experience operating forklift in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to apply computer and communication skills and math functions
• Ability to use hand tools including RF scanner guns
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable); Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots)

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanner guns.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory.
• Follow GMP protocols.
• Remove wrapped pallets from palletizer staging area and deliver to correct bay.
• Receiving: Unload raw materials from delivery truck and tankers; properly receive and deliver to proper bay; assist with ensuring proper materials are delivered to kitchen or depal area.
• Unload glass from delivery truck.
• Accurately and safely deliver pallets of empty containers to depal area.
• Accurately and safely deliver correct raw materials to appropriate kitchen.
• Rec/Railcars: Load and unload rail cars; accurately receive any raw product in.
• Shipping / Other Warehouses: Relocate pallets throughout warehouse; stage and prep outgoing orders; load outgoing trucks and ensure product is not damaged; load recycling trailers and dumpsters when needed.
• Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager as needed.
• Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Ensure proper receipt, shipment, storage and delivery of finished or raw product by performing the following duties.
