Job summary

Performance Team in Woodbridge Township, NJ is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support inbound and outbound warehouse activities. You will load and unload shipments, stage items, and ensure accurate handling per manifests.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, forklift experience and RF scanner proficiency. The role requires lifting 50+ lbs, overtime readiness, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends.

• High attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products
• Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
• Identifying and annotating OS&D (overages, shortages, damages)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment following TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:

The Forklift Operator oversees loading & unloading materials utilizing a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. They are to maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify any discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties
• Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience
• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material
• Experience using a RF scan gun required
• Previous forklift certifications preferred
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
• Must have the ability to work well with others
• High attention to detail required
• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Schedule: 4:30 PM -1:00 AM

Pay:

$20.820 per hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
