Job summary

Cardinal Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Winter Haven, FL facility. You will operate industrial forklifts, move cold drink equipment, and manage inventory while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, with a Monday–Friday shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The role requires a valid forklift certification and basic handheld/PC skills in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift safely to move equipment and supplies.

Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Forklift Operator based out of our Winter Haven location. We’re currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM.

Job Summary:

As a Forklift Operator at Cardinal Equipment Services, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for safely handling and transporting cold drink equipment and supplies within our facility. Your role will involve operating industrial forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals : Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Operate handheld/PC : Utilize handheld devices and PCs to manage inventory and track equipment.
• Review daily production schedule : Monitor and adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Safely operate industrial forklift : Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to transport equipment and supplies.
• Load and unload trailers of cold drink equipment and supplies : Handle the loading and unloading of trailers with precision and care.
• Transport equipment to assigned areas in facility : Move equipment to designated areas such as Triage, Core storage, Wash Bay, Fountain, and Finished Goods.
• Stack equipment as needed : Organize and stack equipment to optimize space and accessibility.
• Shrink-wrap equipment : Apply shrink-wrap to equipment for protection and stability during transport.
• Assist with equipment inventory : Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Systematically close out orders : Complete order processing and documentation systematically.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the day : Ensure the workspace is kept clean and safe, adhering to company standards.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Ability to operate handheld devices and PCs.
• Work performed on cement floors in a warehouse environment.
• Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperature conditions, including heat, cold and humidity.
• Noise levels are typically moderate to high due to machinery, powered industrial equipment, and general warehouse operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
• Continuous bending, kneeling squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise.

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
