Job summary

SURGE Staffing is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a busy frozen warehouse in Piedmont, SC. This role involves operating a forklift in a cold-storage environment while picking and handling cases of frozen food products.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will safely move products, load and unload, and meet daily productivity goals on a 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule at $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution environments preferred.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Comfortable working in a cold/frozen warehouse environment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull cases.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
