DHL Supply Chain in Trinity, AL is hiring a Forklift Operator for night shifts. You will move stock within our warehouse using various forklifts and pallet jacks, load/unload shipments, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience operating stand up material handling equipment.
• Operate stand up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating other equipment such as Order Picker, Sit-Down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack.

Responsabilidades

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or power equipment for 80% of shift.
• Prepping product for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards and report variances as needed.
• Assist in physical inventories and keep a clean, organized facility.

The core responsibilities of this role include: A minimum of 1 year experience operating stand up material handling equipment is required; Safe and efficient operation of a stand up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck; Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order Cherry Picker; Sit down; Clamp; Electric Pallet.

Position: Forklift Operator

Shift: Night Shift

Hours: 6PM - 6AM

Days: Rotating Nights

Pay: $19.25 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium for weekdays and a $2.00 shift premium for weekends

Required Qualification: Ability to spend 80 percent of the time operating powered material handling equipment and RF Scanning.

Preferred Qualification: A minimum of 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience.

Role Purpose:

What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused. Key Accountabilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
