Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in Plover, WI. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials within the temperature-controlled facility. Daily tasks include handling pallets and product, staging and organizing inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving activities, and verifying documentation and labels. The role involves working closely with warehouse team members to meet production schedules, maintain clean and orderly work areas, and follow safety, quality, and food handling standards. The Forklift Operator may also support packing, wrapping, and securing product for transport and participate in regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely perform Forklift Operation and core Material Handling tasks.
• Skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying counts, documentation, and product condition.
• Experience with Unloading and Loading trucks, staging pallets, and organizing inventory.
• Capability in Packing and preparing orders for shipment, including wrapping and securing loads.
• Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred; ability to work in refrigerated environments.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory, labels, and work orders; ability to use warehouse scanners or systems.
• Reliable attendance, ability to lift and move materials as required, and willingness to work various shifts or overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification provided by the company.
