Job summary

American Plastics is hiring for a full-time forklift position in Ohio. You will operate a forklift to move materials, load and unload shipments, and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include labeling, following work orders, and supporting production and logistics teams. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs (80 lbs with team lift) and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Read work orders or follow oral instructions of work assignments.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. individually and 80 lbs. with a team lift.

Responsibilities

• Sort finished goods and label containers or mark with identifying information.
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions for work assignments.
• Assist in maintaining the work area (sweeping, trash disposal).

Available Shift

Sunday 7-3 Monday through Thursday 9-5

Requirements

• Standing long periods, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. individually and 80 lbs. with a team lift.
• Maintain product specifications during production and packing according to customer requests.
• Meet daily delivery requirements.
• Monitor and advise if there are not an adequate inventory of materials (finished parts, WIP, and raw materials).
• May participate in housekeeping.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
