Job summary

Qual IT Resources is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Handler to safely retrieve and transfer raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within an automotive manufacturing setting.

You will operate forklifts, coordinate with Receiving and Shipping, and document movements in the Plex system for traceability. 1+ year manufacturing experience and strong communication are required, with adherence to ISO quality standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience manufacturing within automotive industry.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance checks of forklift equipment.
• Use records from Receiving, Supervisors, and Operators to unload and load trucks.
• Keep stamping machines, welders, and other operations supplied with WIP or raw material.
• Move finished product to the appropriate location.
• Record all movements in the Plex system for traceability.
• Respond to intercom announcements as required.
• Transport dies to appropriate locations.
• Follow safe work practices and wear required PPE.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor or management.
• Demonstrate awareness of ISO 9001/14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Observe company policies including General ODM Rules, Safety Rules, and Ethics.
• Respect proprietary rights of ODM, customers, and suppliers.
