Quality Distribution, LLC. in Salt Lake City is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to join our warehouse operations team. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, build pallets, load/unload shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and 1–2 years minimum experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, order-pickers, and pallet jacks to move heavy materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Build and pick pallets according to specifications.
• Load and unload palleted goods onto and from semi-trailers, ensuring proper stacking and securing of loads.
• Conduct quality assurance checks, reporting any product damage or shortages.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory accurately.
• Prepare goods for transport by shrink wrapping or securing them properly.
• Weigh and record product weights for documentation purposes.
• Analyze production schedules to prioritize timely transportation of materials and products.
• Document the arrival, departure, and movement of goods, maintaining accurate records of inventory and order fulfillment.
