Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a pallet jack operator in Illinois to assemble and stage customer orders using pallet jack equipment. You will help ensure products are delivered efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and Lineage procedures.

The role requires basic math, the ability to follow instructions in English, and the capacity to work in wide temperature ranges with PPE. Lifting up to 40 lbs and flexible shifts are expected perks of the job.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• English voice commands may be required.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20F to 100F in cold/dry storage while wearing PPE.
• Must lift at least 40 lbs (18 kgs).
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Noise levels can be high at times.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open boxes and containers when necessary.
• Pick products and verify correct lot numbers/product codes.
• Record material quantities using site equipment for inventory updates.
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly.

Job description

Schedule 5am-2pm M-F Pay: $22/hr.

Play a key role in our operations by using pallet jack equipment to accurately assemble and stage customer orders. This position ensures products are delivered efficiently to the appropriate areas, all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety standards, quality, and company procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open boxes and other containers when necessary
• Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes
• Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
