The Opportunity

The forklift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trucks and trailers in a timely and safe manner, verifying receipt documentation. This role also involves stocking products in the yard, including loading, unloading, staging, and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments, and verifying documentation for accuracy. The Forklift Operator will perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize downtime and repair costs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, inspect, and stock incoming pipe and materials, verifying receipt documentation.
• Stock pipe products in the yard.
• Load, stage, and inspect outgoing shipments, verifying documentation for accuracy.
• Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize downtime and repair costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience and confidence using ERP systems.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to multitask.
• Decision-making skills with little supervision.
