Job summary

Bunzl North America is hiring a Forklift Operator for 1st/2nd shifts to receive, pick and ship stock in a fast-paced warehouse in Reno, NV. The role requires safe forklift operation and accurate order handling for timely fulfillment.

We offer weekly pay, wage access prior to payday, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and PTO. Overtime may be required based on business demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy objects (40–50 lbs) with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer.
• Operate an industrial forklift safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack product, use appropriate equipment.
• Utilize on-board computer and wireless RF system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as directed by supervisor.

• Pay or shift range: $18.35 USD to $20.35 USD
  The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.

Description

The Forklift Operator will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

1st Shift - 6:00am -2:30pm 18.35/hr

2nd Shift- 2:00pm-10:30pm 20.35/hr

Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer
• Must operate an industrial forklift in a safe and responsible manner
• Must be able to retrieve and stack product safety use appropriate equipment
• Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 40-50 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
• Overtime is required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice
• Ability to understand written English without the assistance of translation software
• Previous equipment operation experience required
• Obtain all necessary certifications required by OSHA upon hire
• Must be dependable and a team player
• Strong attention to detail
