Job summary

Atterro in Reno, NV is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts, move materials, and support warehouse operations. You will read loading docs, stock inventory, and ensure accuracy in order picking.

The job requires 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, with preferred forklift certification. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
• 6–12 months of cherry picker or reach truck experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, and label products accurately.
• Move and sort cartons, pallets, and materials.

• Read shipment summaries, packing lists, and related documents.
• Pick and prepare sales orders with high accuracy (≥99%).
• Receive and stock purchase orders with high accuracy.

Job Duties

• Pack, seal, and label products accurately and efficiently.
• Move, sort, kit, load, and unload cartons, orders, pallets, and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers using proper warehouse procedures.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient use of all warehouse processes.
• Read and interpret shipment summaries, purchase orders, packing lists, bills of materials, and related documents.
• Pick and prepare sales orders with greater than 99% accuracy.
• Receive and stock purchase orders with greater than 99% accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, scrubbing, and keeping work areas orderly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
