Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain is seeking experienced Sit Down Forklift Operators to support our distribution center in Ontario, CA. You will load, unload, and transport full pallets and safely operate material handling equipment. Regional benefits include a comprehensive package with 401(k) plan and health coverage.

The role requires forklift experience, strong safety awareness, and teamwork to follow SOPs. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of sit-down forklift or sit-down clamp experience required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Punctuality with a demonstrated attendance record.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport full pallets of product.
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory and orders.
• Visually inspect pallets and product for quality defects.
• Work as part of a team to follow all warehouse SOPs, and improve operations.
• Fill in on other areas of the warehouse (e.g., warehouse associate) as required.
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
• Other duties as assigned.
