Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently unload products and sort, segregate, and put away stock across the warehouse. The role involves operating various powered industrial equipment and supporting additional duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of warehouse experience and may have familiarity with warehouse management systems or related inventory processes. This position is based in a distribution facility and requires on-site work.

A Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently and accurately unloading product, sorting, segregating and putting away the product into the proper locations throughout the warehouse; and other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Will operate various kinds of powered industrial equipment which may include stand-up or sit-down fork trucks, rider pallet trucks, slip sheeter, and other equipment found in distribution warehousing.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

6 month warehouse experience

Preferred qualifications

• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
• Warehouse management systems experience, i.e. scanning, inventory systems
