Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our distribution center in Minnesota. You will operate standup forklifts to move products to designated locations and work at heights up to 20 feet when required.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with a starting pay of $23.75 per hour plus a $0.40 shift differential. Generous benefits begin after 60 days and include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid time off after the initial period.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift experience and RF Utility familiarity preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product into the system for each shift.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Forklift Operator uses industrial, powered, computer-equipped standup forklifts to move materials throughout the distribution center and place product in designated areas. You will need to be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet or more at times.

Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour + .40 shift differential

• Monday to Friday 12pm Start

What you’ll do as a Forklift Operator:

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating a forklift and RF Utility (preferable, not required).
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
