Job summary

Sazerac Company in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a Forklift Operator to work on a sit-down forklift most of the day, performing case picking, wrapping, RF scanning, pallet tagging, and trailer door handling. This role supports production to warehouse flow and requires attention to safety and accuracy.

The position offers an hourly rate of $20.96–$23.28 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:45pm to 7:00am.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience (minimum).
• Ability to work various shifts, communicate with all levels of an organization and have strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time, operate industrial equipment, pickup and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. without assistance, good vision and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Order picking and truck loading process.
• Warehouse inventory-robot operation and forklift operation.
• Confirming counts from production to warehouse.
• Quality control of all outgoing product and setting up orders of incoming stock.
• Care and maintenance of property assigned to use and works together with staff to support the goals of Company.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be on a sit-down forklift 90% of your day. You will get off the forklift to operate wrappers, use RF Scanners, apply pallet tags and open/close trailer doors. You will also be responsible for case picking.

The hourly rate for this role is $20.96-$23.28/hr + $2/hr shift diff

Shift: Rotating 2-2-3

Hours: 6:45pm-7am
