Gold Star Foods is seeking a dependable Warehouse Forklift Operator to move, stack, and count merchandise in our Nebraska facility. You will operate a forklift, complete pre/post inspections, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in accordance with food-disafety and safety guidelines.

You will work with the warehouse team to load, unload, and stage products, track inventory, and report any forklift issues. Evening and weekend shifts may be required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including forklifts and warehouse spaces.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and observing traffic rules within the warehouse.
• Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and recording merchandise as it is moved.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
• Report any forklift malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and hygiene.
• Participate in training programs and meetings to enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The forklift operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a food warehouse environment. The operator must ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while adhering to all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.

Principle Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on forklift equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.

COMPETITIVE SALARY

$21.50/Hour starting + Premiums (if applicable) + Performance Incentive
