Forklift Operator

Location: Mooresville, NC

Pay Rate: $18.90 per hour

Shift Options: 2nd Shift 3 PM-11 PM | 3rd Shift 11 PM-7 AM | Monday - Friday Schedule

Requirements and Job Duties

• Diploma or GED
• Forklift cert (or get before start)
• 1+ year warehouse forklift experience
• Run sit-down, stand-up, and reach lifts
• Lift 50 lbs., stay on your feet
• Follow orders, stay safe, and check your gear
• Show up ready and work as a team
• Ensuring products are packaged correctly according to specifications, including using the right packaging materials and applying appropriate labels.
• Stacking packaged products onto pallets, wrapping the pallets securely, and labeling them with the correct information.
• Inspecting products for any defects or quality issues before packaging and reporting any problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensuring that the correct packaging materials are available and stocked for production.
• Counting, weighing, and reporting scrap materials.
• Following all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Communicating any packaging or quality issues to supervisors or team leads.
• Performing other tasks as required, which may include operating machinery or providing support to other production activities.
