Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Forklift Operator for our McCook, IL facility. The role requires operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely, handling chemicals per regulations, and ensuring correct inventory control and shipping documentation.

You will verify incoming goods, prepare outgoing shipments, and maintain records using our warehouse systems. The ideal candidate holds a forklift certification, has experience with chemicals, excels at detail and organization, and can lift up to 50

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: McCook, IL

Pay Range: $18- $20

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle, store, and transport chemicals in accordance with safety regulations and company policies
• Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for damage
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems

What's Needed?

• Forklift Certification (required)
• Experience working with chemicals and understanding of proper handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
