Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator in Marrero, LA. The role involves transporting palletized product from the dock to correct warehouse slots using powered equipment and ensuring loads are secure for safe selection.

You will replenish pick slots from reserve slots, perform routine safety checks, and help maintain inventory levels for day and night shifts. Benefits start day one and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related experience in material handling equipment desirable.
• Knowledge of Voxware commands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallet loads from dock to designated warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenish pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selections.
• Perform safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher; report any damage.
• Record product, equipment and warehouse damage and maintain clean aisles free of debris.
