Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements, loading and unloading customer trailers, sorting pallets by hand, and repairing damaged wooden pallets. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site.

Hourly Pay

$16.00/hr.

Shift(s)

Wednesday–Sunday 4:00 pm–12:00 am.

Location

Macclenny, FL 32063.

What You’ll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand‑sort wooden pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths.
• Noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection; ear protection is mandatory at several locations; safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
